How Your Vocal Reel Session Works

Before The Session

Before your session you will need to send over your song cuts as mp3s to vocalreels@theaccompanist.co.uk
​
If you want to save yourself time, we can source your tracks and/or create your cut mp3s for you - all you need to do is send us the Youtube/Spotify links to your songs.  This service is charged extra at £4.20 per track.

Please also let us know what colour backdrop you'd like.  The options are:

  • Green

  • Blue

  • Purple

  • Red Wine

  • Pink

During The Session

We have a dressing area with a mirror for you to use if needed.  Also if you would like to bring a few different outfits, we have a privacy screen for changing too.

  • Once ready you'll be set up in the recording area and you'll be wired up with the in-ear monitors to hear your backing track 

  • You can record your songs in whatever order you like

  • You get as many takes as you need until you're happy 

  • After each take we will listen back to the audio and watch the videos

  • Once your favourite take is picked we will move on to the next song

  • After you've recorded all your songs we will take around 5-10 minutes at the end to discuss an order and watch the whole reel back

  • Once you're happy we're all done! You will receive your reel within 30 minutes after you've left.

Backing Track mp3 Creation - £4.20 per track
Backing Track Sourcing - £6 per track
Overtime - £1.75/minute
